The charities that accept car donations are all over the internet, but after I wrote my page on the car donation tax deduction, one of my website visitors pointed out that it would be a good idea if I could put up a car donation charity program resource page - everything in one place, so to speak. I thought that was a great idea (thanks Susan!). American Lung Association Car Donation - The American Lung Association will pickup your vehicle whether it's running or not. However, the vehicle must not be missing any key parts. Catholic Car Donations - Your own Catholic church might have a car donation charity program, so check with them first. On a national level there are a few Catholic charities that accept car donations. Goodwill Car Donation - Your local Goodwill Office will very likely have a car donation charity program. Contact your local Goodwill office, either online or by telephone. You can find your local Goodwill office here. Look under "Find Your Local Goodwill" and enter your zip code. The car donation process differs a bit from region to region.
