2003 Tax Table



Using the 2003 Tax Table forform 1040 filers? Then here's something you should be aware of:

It is important to keep your filing status in mind when using the 2003 federal tax table. This may seem very obvious, but this is where taxpayers often make mistakes, especially if they are in a rush while preparing their taxes. Remember, each filing status - Married Filing Jointly, Married Filing Separately, Single and Head of Household, has its own column in the 2003 IRS tax table.For example, if you are married, but filing separately from your spouse, make sure that you refer to the applicable column.

Note: Use the 2003 irs tax table only if your 2003 taxable incomewas less than $100,000. If your taxable income during 2003 was more thanthan $100,000 you must use the IRS 2004 tax rate schedules. They are available here .
